Molly Kizzar was born and raised in the Shreveport, LA area. She grew up as one of seven children. Music has played a significant role in her life since age eight, when she started piano lessons. She took her love of music all the way to college, where she got a piano scholarship. She received a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR.

Since college, Molly has played in church worship bands, taught piano lessons, and taught elementary music in the classroom. She taught K-12 music in a private school in South Florida for two years before moving to Orlando with her husband Mike, which is where she found Kindermusik. After moving to Orlando, Molly and Mike wanted to start a family and she wanted to do something that would easily fit into her new role as a mom, while still being able to use her degree. She started working as a Kindermusik Educator and fell in love with the program. Once she had her first child in 2014, they felt the call to move to Louisiana to be close to family during their daughter’s early years. Molly started a job in another private school teaching K-6 music. She missed Kindermusik though. After another year of teaching in the classroom, she began her own Kindermusik studio in Shreveport and had a business partner. After living in Northwest Louisiana for six years, her husband’s job brought them to the DFW area.

Molly is married to her best friend, Mike, and they have three wonderful children. They are new to Texas but not new to the South – “Hey y’all!” Molly teaches piano lessons and is thrilled about teaching Kindermusik again. When she is not teaching, she loves spending time with her kids, being outside, making jewelry, watching LSU football, and watching shows with her husband in the peace and quiet.
