Miss Kristen has taught K-5 elementary music in classrooms from Plano to Dubai to Melissa, TX (her current position) since 2004.  She has a masters in music education from St Thomas University (the pinnacle of music education training, known all over the world as the premier program), and has 19 years experience in classroom teaching.  She first taught Kindermusik in 2001, while she was in her undergrad program at Butler University, in Indiana.  After many years away from it she's back (re-licensed, completely re-trained for up-to-date certification) and she will look forward to teaching in Melissa, close to where she lives with her husband and enjoys spending time loving on her step-daughter.  You might see her out and about Melissa at Starbucks, as she's a coffee aficionado, or online as she enjoys social media!
